DETAILED TERMS AND CONDITIONS
FOR TRAINING CONDUCTED BY SCHOOL OF POLISH & ENGLISH BY DR. ANNA ALATAWI
ORGANIZATION
Classes are conducted online or at the participant’s location. Qualified Polish and English language instructors with extensive experience lead the sessions. General English courses from level B2 onwards are taught by native speakers. The teaching process is continuously monitored methodologically.
General courses are available individually or in groups of up to four people. Specialized packages are offered as courses for one or two individuals. The school does not assemble groups. Both companies and private participants interested in group or tandem learning are responsible for organizing their own training groups.
The start date of a course depends on the preferences of the participants and the availability of the instructors.
Both general modular courses and specialized packages can be delivered with varying intensity. The minimum intensity is 60 minutes once a week.
The maximum course duration depends on arrangements with the school. When determining the duration of training, the school considers the course intensity.
The level of participants who are not starting their language learning journey from the beginning is assessed through a test and a qualifying interview. Alternatively, the participant’s level can be determined by the school based on a language certificate.
ORDERING LANGUAGE TRAINING
By providing their contact information, participants consent to receive informational and organizational correspondence (SMS, email) and phone contact. In the event of incorrect contact numbers and/or email addresses, the school is not responsible for delays in starting the course or missed classes by the participant.
The school reserves the agreed start date and class schedule for the participant, confirmed by phone or email, without requiring payment for up to 14 calendar days from the reservation date. If the course fee is not paid within 14 days of reservation, the school has the right to cancel the reserved class times.
The school enters into a Language Training Agreement with the participant, which includes the participant’s details, the type and name of the training, its duration, number of hours, schedule, number of participants, training cost, and the terms of the agreement.
Payment of the fee confirms acceptance of the terms specified in the Agreement and the School’s Regulations.
No agreement is required for consultations.
TEACHING PROCESS
The school may change the class schedule or cancel classes only due to unforeseen circumstances, such as the instructor’s illness. Canceled classes will be rescheduled to another mutually agreed date. If rescheduling is not possible, the school will refund the fee for the unused classes.
Participants have the right to cancel a specified number of classes within the limit specified in the Agreement and reschedule them to another date, no later than the end date specified in the Agreement, provided that the cancellation is made by 11:00 a.m. on the day before the class.
Classes not canceled within this timeframe are considered conducted.
In justified cases, the school reserves the right to change the instructor during the course.
The school requires participants to be punctual, actively participate in classes, and diligently and systematically prepare for classes, particularly by completing homework assigned by the instructor.
Participants must ensure that their audio quality during online classes is sufficiently good. External microphones are recommended.
To ensure proper interaction between the instructor and participants, the school requires participants to turn on their cameras during online classes.
If a participant unjustifiably refuses to turn on the camera, the instructor has the right to refuse to conduct the class.
Participants may submit their comments on the quality of services in writing or by phone. For written comments, the school will respond within 14 days.
FEES
The course price cannot change during the course.
The course fee does not include the cost of textbooks.
Payment for courses and consultations is made in full in advance by bank transfer to the school’s account specified in the agreement.
The course fee must be paid by the deadline specified in the agreement.
Late payment or non-payment of the full amount by the deadline stated in the Agreement is grounds for canceling the reserved class times.
CANCELLATION TERMS
Withdrawal from the agreement must be in writing.
Terminating the agreement later than 14 calendar days before the first class forfeits the participant’s right to a course fee refund.
Courses purchased under special promotions are non-refundable.
Participants may transfer their course to another person with the school’s consent.
